The Challenge

To design a secure tool helping travelers identify hidden spy cameras and unrecognized Bluetooth trackers inside hotel rooms and rental apartments.

Our Process

We tapped into the device's hardware antenna interfaces, parsing magnetometer fields and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RSSI packets. We created a dark radar dashboard featuring neon red/green warning states to reflect detection intensity.

Technical Obstacles & Solutions

We wrote distance estimation algorithms based on signal decay properties. To identify camera lenses via light reflection, we trained and integrated a CoreML computer vision model running entirely offline to analyze camera frames in real time.
